Best 100 Dishes of 2015: COD WITH FISH ROE DUMPLINGS at DUMPLING GALAXY in New York City

SADLY, DUMPLING GALAXY IS NOW CLOSED.

The shopping malls in Flushing are the best. You won’t find any generic fast food chains (no Chick-Fil-A or Sbarro) – only regional Chinese food. Dumpling Galaxy is one of my new favorites if only for the sheer variety of dumpling fillings (close to 100). The best I tried yet is the unusual cod with fish roe dumpling. The tender wrappers hide a soft butteriness from the fish and bits of pop from the roe. I found them to be sweet and rich with a delicate, clean finish. Price: $7.95

Shiokimaki 1st gen is nicer, I love the fatty salmon sashimi and cod fish with flying fish roe.. overall stick to the side dish would be a better choice

Supreme tofu, fish roe fried rice, salted egg prawns and stir fry ?? veggie with Dace fish are good.
