I love the excitement you describe as you first walked out onto rooftop. That's exactly what we felt on a Sunday evening in the summer. Busy but not too, Angel drank beer while I ordered Prosecco like the girl I am. Came from a casket too & a very generous $9 glass it was. It's a well run place & as with all Batali's spots, he knows what people want & brings it to us!! great review as usual, complex, detailed & well thought out.
